The Gujarat Special Investment Region Act, 2009
The law that turns Dholera into a region with its own authority instead of an ordinary set of villages under a district. It gives that authority the power to permit development, to permit the occupation of a finished building, to run a single window for new units, and to tax property. The taxing power is the one that publishes no rate.
