What this step achieves

Gives the buyer the full text of an earlier registered document in the chain of title, not just the index entry.

The form named in the official source

Form No. 3 - 'શોધ લેવાની અથવા નકલ માટેની અરજી'

Statutory fee

Court fee ticket of Rs. 3/- affixed on Form No. 3, PLUS a per-page copy fee that varies with page size: 18.5 cm x 11.4 cm = Rs. 10/- per page; 25.4 cm x 15.2 cm = Rs. 15/- per page; 30.5 cm x 19.0 cm = Rs. 20/- per page; 34.3 cm x 21.6 cm = Rs. 20/- per page. PLUS a court fee ticket (stamp duty) of Rs. 300/- per copy. Worked example given in the source: a 20-page document at 25.4 x 15.2 cm = 20 x 15 = Rs. 300 copy fee.

Timeline stated in the source

Not stated No timeline stated, gap 18

Why this is empty. Registration department SLA / turnaround times for issuing a certified copy, Index-2, EC or a completed registration are NOT PUBLISHED in any source examined. All stated_timeline values for those steps are null; only the statutory presentation window (four months) and the statutory deemed-approval periods are recorded.
