Land Screening Committee meeting is scheduled within 7 days from the date of application. DICDL provides the Allotment letter within 10 days from the date of approval received from the Screening Committee. Acceptance of the allotment letter with a 10% down payment must be completed within 10 days from the date of the allotment letter, failing which the allotment is cancelled. Balance 90% in two stages: Stage I - 30% within 90 days from the date of the allotment letter; Stage II - 60% within 180 days from the date of the allotment letter. The agreement with the allottee shall be executed within 10 days after. Lease term not exceeding 99 years.

Where the applicant fails to pay Stage I within 90 days, the LMC may allow payment between day 91 and day 150 with interest. Where Stage II is missed, the LMC may extend up to a maximum of 90 further days with interest. Land for industrial purpose is allotted by FCFS, auction or tender; commercial and residential land is allotted ONLY by auction or by inviting tenders through prominent daily newspapers, not FCFS. Premium price shall not be less than the prevailing market price or reserve price, whichever is more. The LMC comprises the Chairman and Managing Director of DICDL, the Collector of Ahmedabad District, a Director of DICDL (DMICDC), the GM - Land and Municipal Services of DICDL, and the Senior Town Planner of the Regional Development Authority.
